This would once have graced a counter, presumably for the use of customers. The style suggests early 1950s.

The base is acrylic with nicely bevelled edges and sits on 4 rubber feet. The date tiles are celluloid and showing their age but still fully legible. The notepad is held in place with a plate bearing the Woolwich's name and two chromed nuts.
