SMITHS melamine cased military wall clock
ca. 1970

This handsome clock, with its grey melamine case, was produced for the British MOD between 1968 and 1970.

It is unusual because it bears the name Sectric, usually reserved for electric clocks, yet is driven by a battery powered transistorised Smiths Sectronic movement.

This is a rare clock in outstanding condition.
