SMITHS Sectronic battery mantel clock
1960sThis is a very eye-catching clock, combining jet black and opaque pearl Perspex to striking effect. The stylised silvered dial is very clear and easy to read. With its clean lines, use of 'new' materials and battery power, this clock defines the 1960s.
The clock is driven by the transistorised 'Smiths Sectronic Mark 1', which dates production to between 1963 and 1968. It takes a single C type battery (an AA will also fit) and can be manually regulated. Dimensions
