One of our favourite Smiths clocks, offering a dramatic new take on the classic wooden mantel clock - a fine example of late 1960s modernism.

The simplicity of design belies the surprising variety of materials and production techniques used in its construction - this was not yet the throwaway age! This early example is driven by the transistorised 'Smiths Sectronic Mark 2', which dates production to between 1968 and 1970.
