SMITHS quartz melamine cased wall clock
1970s

This is one of the last clocks to be made by Smiths before they ceased production in 1979. It still features the classic melamine case introduced in the 1960s.

The historic Delhi name - in use for many years on clockwork and electric models - now takes pride of place on the dial. The black numerals also have a distinctly retro look.

The clock is driven by the original quartz movement, requiring a single AA battery.
