HMV portable gramophone model 102, 1955

The HMV 102 is widely recognised as marking the pinnacle of portable gramophone design. It remained in production, with minor changes, from 1931 until the late 1950s.

This is a late model finished in black Rexine leathercloth with a matching motor board. The internal fittings are chromium plated. It is in outstanding condition with no damage, marking or staining and has probably seen only limited use.

The gramophone, which retains all its original components, has been fully disassembled and sensitively refurbished. It is supplied in full working condition with instructions and 100 new needles.
