Manufacturers like Bausch & Lomb and American Optical were producing super-fine engraved and gold filled frames that would cost a small fortune today. Most frames are shown with their original lenses, which can of course be replaced with your own prescription if you have a good optician. Some have reading lenses, which if you are lucky might not need replacing! Also, we can reglaze almost any frame with new light-weight acrylic sunglass lenses, if you prefer. Regarding gold filled There is 10 time more gold in gold-filled than gold- plated!
