This is a stunning little desk clock from the renowned manufacturer Enfield. The design and detailing show clear art deco influence, albeit with the customary British restraint. It probably dates to the late 1930s or early 1940s.

It has a 30 hour movement so requires daily winding. The unusual Persian green crackle finish to the case and the nicely detailed torpedo feet make this little clock something special.
